La Jolla Cove

After we checked in to the hotel, we made our way to the coast. It was about a 10 min drive.  It was pretty windy, but we still had a lot of fun. We joked that Chris looked like a famous person in his black attire. Afterward we went to the free BBQ at the hotel and sat by the fire and visited with other people staying at the hotel. Ryan played with his new friends(Coral and Parker) that he met 2 minutes after arriving at the hotel earlier that day!

         It was actually pretty fun watching the birds coast in the wind. We saw a few pelicans as well.

You can get pretty close to the sea lions, which was really cool.

     

Watching the sun set was beautiful. We love the beach. :)
