1: Mines, Town, Dinner and Hot Tub

Friday morning was our first day in Ouray and it started out with throwing rocks in the river and around the parking lot. We watched the sun rise over the mountains and enjoyed the perfect weather. When the Harris' got there we ate lunch and then went on a little drive up the canyon. Ouray is an old mining town that still has lots of the old mining history still standing. It's pretty amazing seeing these buildings amidst all the trees. The weather is great in the morning then it rains for a few hours in the afternoon and then it's back to sunshine. We were still able to do things in the rain and it was actually kind of fun! The Harris' stayed in the cutest little cabins and we stayed in the hotel part just next to them. We spent a lot of time on the porch just talking, laughing, swinging, eating, listening to the river and watching the kids jump around and throw rocks. In the afternoon we walked up main street and later that night we all got in the hot tub at the hotel. It was so fun! It was so relaxing and by far an awesome vacation!
"Now kiss me you fool!" She's pretty good at the dip for a three year old,too bad she couldn't exactly hold him up while she laid one on him! They have so much fun together.

I was off taking pictures and when I came back Ry was enjoying the sunroof. :)

I felt so sick in the car....
Ryan is on this "1,2,3 GO!" kick. This is him trying to get Chris to race with him.

No explanation needed. It was hilarious. Later that night mom and dad treated us to dinner at a Mexican restaurant that they really like. We had fun watching Ryan doing what we call the "family kiss" and he loved getting all the attention from the family.

One of my favorite things to see was watching the reflection of the sun setting on the mountains.
