My dad was so excited to take us to the Stan Hywet Mansion. Stan Hywet started the Goodyear Tire Company and made LOTS of money. He had this home built in 1912 and finished in 1915. You can't take pictures inside, but I found only one online. This place was so fascinating. For the time period everything was so "high tech." It has all been donated by family and so most, if not all of it is original. Chris loved the secret passage ways in the library, funny artwork the kids had drawn on the walls and I enjoyed all the original vintage clothing they showcased and the landscape.
