The past MONTH!

I used to post every other day and I have stooped so low...it's been a month! Let's go back to Thanksgiving since it's almost Christmas! So much has been going on so I've got a lot to catch up on. My grandmother from Maryland came to visit for a few weeks. I love when I get to see her since it's not very often that I do. She loved Ryan and I loved watching her with him. She just kept saying how precious he is and that he has cute ears. Ryan was blessed by Chris in our ward on November 23rd. I spoke in church that day about a few of the conference talks. Thanks to our friends and family who made it there early in the morning. We put our Christmas decorations up the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Ryan was taking an awesome nap the whole time so it was so fun to do that with Chris. We spent Thanksgiving with my family. We ate at Nancy and Jason's in Pleasant View and slept there for a few days. I went shopping with my sisters and mom on black Friday. My cute dad drove up from Centerville to join the fun and be the cart watcher and "cop" on the side. We left at 5:00 and went to Walmart which was already SUPER crowded. My mom and I decided that after Walmart we wanted to go back home and sleep!

Don't hate me for posting this picture Breanne...you are just soo funny!! Love you!!My mom makes stockings for everyone in my family. This is Ryan's stocking. Love it! Ryan's 2 month appointment. He weighed 10lbs 4oz and he was 22in. Ryan is doing great! He now has a night schedule that has been pretty consistant for the last couple of weeks. He goes to bed around 10:30-11 and wakes up around 3 or 4. I know it's not 8 hours but we are getting there. He is starting to smile more but of course I never can get a picture of it! As you can see he holds his head up pretty well! He might hate me later for posting pictures of his cute bottom, but just look at those rolls!!

Ryan has definitely found his hands. It's fun to watch him suck on them and look at them constantly.

BIG BOOGER! Ryan's first booger...oh it was so funny! He was so mad and I was yelling for Chris to grab the camera.
Chris turned 23 on December 10th. Both my boy's are growing up so quickly! Ha ha. Chris is such an awesome Dad. He never EVER complains about helping with Ryan even when he's been at school all day or doing bishopric things. We took a wagon ride around Thanksgiving Point with some friends to see the lights.


Our neice Kaytlyn and Chris' sister Ashley came home from living in Maryland. It was super fun to see how much Kaytlyn has grown.

My sister Valerie had a baby girl, Anna on December 12th. I wasn't able to be there which was sad but I'm glad that Nancy was able to be there since she couldn't make it to mine and it's the first one she's seen. I get to see Anna on Saturday so I'm super excited.
Chris is majoring in Athletic Training at BYU. This semester he has been training with the men's tennis team and the track team. Ryan and I went to visit him and see what he does.


I did the hardest thing I've done in a while and that is quit my job. I LOVED my job. I loved the people I worked with and I loved being with pregnant women all day! I have always planned on being a stay at home mom and I am grateful that Heavenly Father has helped Chris and I make that possible. It's hard going from talking to people all day and being really active to staying home, BUT I love being able to take care of Ryan and I wouldn't trade that for anything. We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. We are so grateful for our wonderful family and friends. We're thankful to be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and for the joy that it brings into our lives.
