Our 2 1/2 week "break"

Chris had a 2 1/2 week break from school in October and it really was perfect timing.  My Grandma Clow was coming to visit for a month and so we'd be able to see her, we got family pictures taken, went to Chris' cousins wedding, saw both sets of his grandparents, saw the Dinosaur museum, ate at the Mandarin and Gandolfo's,went to the movies at the new theater(only ones there!), hung out with friends and family, went to 2 Halloween activities and we were able to take in all the fall weather and scenery. It was great!

Ryan likes to take his bike when we get the mail.  This day he got his very own postcard from Granddad and Grandma Dellastatious.

He always puts things in the compartment under the seat. 

We left for Utah around 1:30, made a stop to get gas so really we were "on the road" at 2:00.  We got to Utah around 9ish MST. So really it only took us 6 hrs. We stopped in St George for a potty break, and then somewhere else for gas and potty again.  Ryan did awesome in the car and didn't wet his pants which we were happy about.  Paige did ok, not horrible so that was good.  What she did horrible at was sleeping at night while we were gone. She hardly slept for 2 1/2 weeks. Chris and I were always sooo tired. Thank goodness we had help from our parents because we had to sleep in most days since we were up all night.

We were tired....ok I look more tired than she does, but she was too.  Looking at this picture, I think we have the same lips.
