Day 3: Part 2

We didn't have anything planned for the rest of the day, so we decided that we would go to Georgetown and get something to eat and walk around. Sooo glad we did because we had such a fun time!

We went to this newer place called Thunder. It was sooo good. Huge gourmet burgers that just melted in your mouth. We actually asked a lady in Barnes and Noble where a good place to go was and she suggested this place.

After dinner we headed to Georgetown Cupcake.

We waited in line for maybe 10 min, so not that long. A worker stands at the door and hands out menus but there are so many kinds it is near impossible to choose one. Hence, the reason we got a dozen! We first decided ok, lets just get 2 each. Then, that turned into 3 each and well we ended up getting 6 each! The rule was that we had to let the other at least have one bite of the others so that we could try all 12 kinds that we got. My grandmother ate the coconut one when we got home and I still made her let me try a bite. :) It's a super cute store, but way small. I don't know how they get a camera crew in there to film their tv show. We had such a fun time here!
Chris' were all chocolate, there is no way I would know how to distinguish which ones are which! Except I know that he ordered Red Velvet, PB chip, Lava Fudge, Chocolate Ganache,
Chocolate 3, Chocolate and Vanilla
l-r Lemon Blossom, Cherry Cheesecake, Coconut, Chocolate PB chip, Ginger Peach, Chocolate Hazelnut

We walked through the old streets after our cupcake adventure. We love all the character and charm little towns have. We're glad we ate earlier because the restaurants got busy later in the evening. We walked through a few shops and then took the subway and bus back to grandmom's. Awesome day!

Yay for DC! I would have loved to see you! So close, but so far, though, w/ a 6 week old baby. :) It looks like you guys had so much fun!
