On Saturday the 4th we went to the Provo parade. It started late (Mormon standard time). The sirens went on for a little too long if you ask me but I always love watching the parade. Ryan was so tired so he fell asleep and we continued to watch the parade. We had a big BBQ with our friends with lots of meat and sides. Ryan had a blast in the neighbor's pool. He was a hit. Ryan goes to bed at 7:30 so we weren't able to go out and watch any fireworks so we rented a redbox and had a fun night together.

On Friday the 3rd we made a quick visit to Seven Peaks with Janel and Alyssa along with 1 million other people! We still had fun though. Later we went to Center St. and enjoyed the festivities. I think Ryan was hot and tired so he didn't really enjoy it too much. His top front teeth are coming in and he has been beyond cranky. Poor kid is misrable! Up every two hours, only eats 2-3 small bottles a day, drools all day and also won't take his binkie. Oh the joys of being a parent! It's all worth it though. I mean just look at those eyes!

On Thursday the 2nd Ryan had his 9 month dr. appointment. He weighs 18 lbs and is 28 inches long. He's still on the smaller side in both areas but he's doing well. He only had one shot and hardly cried at all. They checked his iron and it is low so we have to give him iron drops for 6 weeks and then go back in and recheck. The Dr. also wants him to see the cardiologist for an irregular heartbeat that he's had since he was born but hasn't gotten better.
