Red Rock Canyon

On ML King Day we headed to Red Rock Canyon. I was pretty excited and had even borrowed Whitney's back pack carrier...as you can see, we forgot it! Thank goodness I keep the Bjorn in the back of the car. It was a little bit windy but once we got going it died down quite a bit. We took the Children's Discovery Trail and it was perfect for Ryan and he had a blast exploring and thinking he could handle the big rocks by himself. He soon realized after falling one to many times that holding my hand was ok too.  We stopped to share a snack at the "waterfall" which ended up not being there since we've had only a handful of rain in the last 5 months. On the way back to the car Paige fell asleep. January 16th
